«He'll be reevaluated when we get back home,» Carbery said.
According to RMNB, Thompson had given up three goals on 12 shots in the first frame before Lindgren took over. The 28-year-old backstop didn't suffer an apparent injury but did take a hard shot to the mask from Hurricanes defenseman Sean Walker, which caused a stoppage in play.
Logan Thompson has been a rock between the pipes all season.
Coming into last night's matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes, The Caps' goaltender boasted an impressive 31-5-6 record, posting a .912 SP (save percentage).
Hopefully, Logan Thompson will be ready to go when the playoffs kick off on April 19th.
