The Washington Capitals have their eyes set on Game 4 tonight against the Montreal Canadiens, and all eyes are on forward Tom Wilson after being issued a maximum by the NHL for a heated altercation with Josh Anderson.

For those who missed it, the NHL dealt two $5000 fines to Josh Anderson and Tom Wilson yesterday for unsportsmanlike conduct -- the maximum allowable under the CBA.
The Chaos that followed also led to Tom Wilson going viral for mocking Juraj Slafkovsky by making a "cry baby" face at him.
In a recent interview, Tom Wilson broke his silence regarding the drama that took place during Game 3.

Tom Wilson addresses the media ahead of Game 4

REPORTER: Are you expecting any carryover from the Anderson incident?

WILSON: There's obviously been a lot of attention on that, it's playoff hockey so emotions get a little crazy. He's a competitor, I'm a competitor. That's the game of hockey, that's why people love it -- it can get a bit crazy. It's physical and it's playoffs. I think there's always a little carryover in the playoffs.

REPORTER: What can you tell us of the video where you're crying?

WILSON: Yeah, that was for one guy, I wasn't doing it to their whole team -- it was for one guy. I'm not going to say who, but he knows who it was. Obviously the camera was right on me, so, I guess I should probably just shut up sometimes.

It's clear Tom Wilson feels no remorse for the events that took place during Game 3.
Obviously, Tom Wilson is a fierce competitor who understands the nature of playoff hockey -- and tensions can often boil over on both sides.
If there's one thing that stands out from that interview, it's that Tom Wilson would gladly accept a fine any day if it means motivating his team.
I fully expect tonight to be a fiery showdown.
More details to follow.
