Spencer Carbery has huge praise for Ryan Leonard after 2nd NHL game

The Washington Capitals got spanked 5-1 by the Carolina Hurricanes yesterday, but the game still provided a few moral victories. Ryan Leonard suited up for his 2nd career NHL game, and head coach Spencer Carbery had some big words for the top prospect in his postgame interview.
The 20-year-old made his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins, playing in front of his home state crowd at a sold-out TD Garden.
From the get-go, head coach Spencer Carbery showed confidence in Leonard, putting him on the Capitals 1st line alongside Dylan Strome and Aliaksei Protas.
After a strong showing against the Bruins, head coach Spencer Carbery once again trusted Leonard on the top line against the Carolina Hurricanes -- a decision that paid off, despite the final result.

Despite the Washington Capitals losing 5-1, Ryan Leonard was a silver-lining.
After the game, Spencer Carbery made himself available for his usual postgame interviews, expressing his satisfaction with Leonard's performance.
