Ivan Miroshnichenko has Washington Capitals and Hershey Bears fans watching his latest PSECU Player of the Week pop.

On Tuesday, Hershey tagged Ivan Miroshnichenko as its PSECU Player of the Week after three points in two games.
The line reads clean, one goal and two assists, but the pace behind it looked even better.
He's at his best when he attacks off the rush, holds the blue line, then slides into soft space between the dots.
That timing is a big deal after he missed 12 games with an upper-body issue earlier this season, per the Bears' own weekly release.
When the breakout is there, he's turning first touches into controlled entries, then driving the slot instead of settling for the perimeter.
Washington also helped set the table by loaning the 2022 first-round pick, 20th overall, back to Hershey last week for bigger minutes.
The ask now is simple, keep the scoring, and keep the details, backchecks, wall battles, and clean exits, showing up every night.

Ivan Miroshnichenko sparks Hershey Bears offense

Honestly, fans have been waiting for this version of Miroshnichenko, the one who shoots first and plays with swagger.
For the Caps, that confidence matters, because it usually shows up in quicker releases and fewer hesitation plays in traffic.
Hershey's social team underlined the week with a bold graphic, and it matched what the shifts have looked like lately.
If you're tracking prospects day to day, that kind of nod is a quick signal that the work is translating.
The resume helps too, he led Hershey with 23 goals and 42 points in 2024-25, then added five points in eight Calder Cup playoff games.
He's already tasted the NHL grind with 41 games and 10 points, and Hershey's loan announcement notes 25 points in 47 AHL games back in 2023-24.
Washington also committed long term with a two-year, $1.85 million extension, which takes the pressure off and raises the expectations.
Now it's about stacking weekends like this, so the next call from Washington feels earned, not wished into existence.
