A big celebrity was at the last Capitals game

Mia Khalifa showed up at a Washington Capitals and Florida Panthers game, and the internet noticed immediately.
RMNB reported that Khalifa was in the building for Washington's Monday trip to Amerant Bank Arena. She sat right along the glass, wearing a Capitals 2018 Stadium Series jersey.
The post that set it off was simple, «RMNB,» paired with the hashtag #heatedrivalry. She also joked on Instagram Stories and called out No. 43, a clear nod to Tom Wilson.
On the ice, Florida beat Washington 5-3 in a game that flipped hard in the third period. Wilson scored twice, Dylan Strome briefly put the Caps ahead 3-2, then Aaron Ekblad's go-ahead shot and Sam Reinhart's empty-netter finished it.
Mia Khalifa and Capitals spotlight collide
Honestly, Caps fans can be furious about breakdowns, yet a celebrity popping up in team colors still feels like a fun little jolt. It also fits, Khalifa has been tied to Washington hockey for years, including a well-known 2018 meet-up with Alex Ovechkin.
The frustrating part for Washington was how the third unraveled after a promising push. Strome's point shot got through traffic, but Florida answered with heavier net-front pressure, and Washington's exits got messy under the Panthers' forecheck.
Wilson's night was the real bright spot, two goals and an assist, and he was involved in every Capitals tally. The 31-year-old was the 16th overall pick in 2012, and his direct, inside game still changes the temperature of a matchup.
For the Caps, the fix is not mysterious, cleaner clears, fewer desperation penalties, and less chasing in their own end once a lead appears. They'll see Florida again January 17 at Capital One Arena, and this time they need the finish.
